Red Rock Redpoint Competition Results

Overall WinnerLast Saturday, August 25, rock climbers of all ages and levels of experience gathered at Red Rock Canyon Open Space for the Red Rock Redpoint climbing competition. The climbers competed in five categories and climbed throughout the afternoon, followed by an awards ceremony and a post-competition happy hour. A portion of the proceeds went to Friends of Red Rock Canyon.

 

 

Congratulations to overall winner Sarah Fullerton, who accumulated 8229 points over the course of the day. In second place was overall male winner Randy Waldman with 7124 points. In the female youth category, 14 year old Sierra Carroll came in first place, while 9 year old Max Wiggin led the male youth category.

Mountain Chalet was pleased to help sponsor the event. Thanks to all the climbers for creating an exciting day and to the spectators who cheered them on.

What is an 'Automatic Session'?
To avoid having to sign in with every visit to Mountain Chalet we created the 'Automatic Sign In'.
This feature stores your credentials (Email-address and password) on your computer. When you visit us again, the stored information is used to automate the Sign in process.

Is it Secure?
Your password is only sent over the Internet using a secure link (SSL). Because of this secure link, the transmission of your password cannot be intercepted. As an additional security feature only an encrypted version of your password is stored in the Cookie. If your computer is used by people other than yourself then we advise you do not to use the 'remember me' feature.

And...
The use of the 'Automatic Sign In' is optional. If you choose not to use this feature, you will need to login manually with each visit to Mountain Chalet.
