BANFF FILM FESTIVAL WORLD TOUR

2023

At this favorite event, outdoor enthusiasts and movie goers enjoy viewing recent film creations of innovative film-makers fresh from the yearly artists' competition in beautiful Banff, Alberta, Canada.

Each night features 7-9 short adventure films (ranging 5 - 45 min) that were selected to tour the world following the Banff competition in November.

In addition bringing outdoor enthusiasts together for a lot of fun, this event's important mission is to support the vital work of Rocky Mountain Field Institute, a non-profit that's on-the-ground preserving and restoring the public lands where we love to play.

At Banff this year, Mountain Chalet will host three nights of wonderful films on March 7, 8, and 9 (Tues/Weds/Thurs) at Stargazers Theatre.

Each night features a completely different set of films.

The tickets are $17.50 per person.

We've also added a special 3-pack for attendance at all three nights of different movies.  For one ticket each nite, the 3-pack is available for only $45.00 (separately the total would be $52.50).

The doors at Stargazers' Theatre open at 5:30 pm and the films begin at 6:45 pm.  Food & drink are available for purchase.  Seating is first come, first served.

Our guests enjoy the magic of the films, the spirit of our community in supporting RMFI, and revelry and fun giveaways.

Thank you for your support of RMFI and our outdoor community.

We're looking forward to seeing you there.

Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour

The Banff Center for Arts and Creativity invites artists to make unique contributions to society through its annual Mountain Film Festival, a competition drawing many aspiring, innovative filmmakers.

In 1986, Banff began sharing the contest film products of these talented mountain filmmakers with a wider community, starting with showing them at only three nearby Canadian cities and now the World Tour visits over 450 sites around the globe, of which Colorado Springs is a lucky one!
