JETBOIL'S GENESIS BASECAMP: Forks Up!

Jetboil's Genesis Basecamp
Jetboil's Genesis Basecamp cook system surprised me on a recent adventure with my wife, Sarah, for her birthday. It’s changed my mind about how I’ll cook on adventures that keep me close to the car. Camp cooking has always been an exercise in simplicity for me - until now.
Its compact folding design packs the necessary tools to attempt ANY sort of meal that might enhance your next adventure. The 5-liter FluxPot boils water in 3 minutes and simmers like your stove top at home. The 10” frypan has a ceramic non-stick coating that impressed me. No problem, at all, to stir-fry some vegetables or flip some flapjacks. Clean-up was a breeze for both the cookware and the stove. The system even allows for the addition of a third burner, just for boiling water, or making coffee. Adding a couple small pack towels will keep the system clean and help to protect the cookware from the scratches that seem to plague all nesting cook systems like the Genesis.
Whether you’re floating the Green River, cragging out of your hatchback, impressing your wife for her birthday or roaming the country in your Sprinter Van, the Genesis Basecamp will afford you exciting new cooking possibilities. I’m super excited to expand my food horizons on my next adventure.
