Have an adventure you can't wait to turn into a short story, or maybe, even a book/memoir?

In this three-hour workshop, authors Stewart M. Green and Susan Joy Paul will guide you through six steps to put you on the path to writing an adventure memoir or short story.

These steps comprise the first section of “Base Camp,” Susan’s book writing/publishing course where you will first create a map as a beginning to writing our short story or book (memoir). This will be a fully packed 3-hour class!

After Stewart and Susan explain each step, everyone will have a few minutes to write what first comes up. Then, we’ll read the responses and have a lively discussion fielding questions and comments. This is not an open critique, but rather an opportunity to discuss story ideas in a small group setting, so we’ll all be more prepared to take these initial concepts and ideas to the next level.

We’ve got room for 12, so sign up while space is still available.

The cost for this workshop is $20 (payable in advance).  Pay for the class at the link at the bottom of this page, under "Buy Ticket."

For the workshop, bring a notepad and pen, tablet, or laptop for writing.
