Colorado Climbing Company + Mountain Chalet

The crews at Colorado Climbing Company, Special Operations Climbers Coalition and Mountain Chalet invite veterans to learn how to rock climb from other veterans. All four of our certified guides for this clinic are veterans. Our goal is to strengthen and expand our veteran community by building knowledge and experience in the outdoors around specific pursuits -- just ahead, rock climbing.

Veterans who want to learn to rock climb, who have done a little climbing or none at all and want to get a good foundation from expert guides in a supportive environment.

Itinerary >

Two days at the crags of Garden of the Gods. Based on the experiences and goals of the individuals, we'll set the itinerarry for the groups spanning movement on the wall, safety, anchor building and cleaning, leading, single- and multi-pitch.

Equipment >

If you have equipment, it's always best to use your own. But if you need equipment, we are happy to supply a harness, a belay device with locking carabiner, rock shoes, and a helmet. (Presents more than our demo gear.)
